Common questions
Do you offer virtual or in-person sessions?
Yes. I offer virtual sessions across Canada (excluding Quebec) and in-person sessions in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Who do you work with?
I work with adults (18+) and couples from all walks of life. My practice is neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book online through Jane using the Book Now button on this site. If you're not ready to book, fill out the inquiry form on the Contact page and I'll follow up.
What can I expect in a first session?
The first session is a chance to get to know each other, discuss what's brought you to therapy, and talk about your goals. There's no pressure to share everything at once — we move at your pace.
What approaches do you use?
Depending on your needs, I draw from ACT, CBT, Narrative Therapy, Somatic Therapy, and EMDR. Your treatment plan is tailored to you.
Why are Quebec virtual sessions not offered?
Provincial regulations and licensing requirements differ across Canada. At this time, virtual services are not offered to clients located in Quebec. In-person services are available in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
